About BG Films

BG Films is a Margaret River based, West Australian Film Company. We make a variety of videos, ranging from commercials for businesses, products or services, to live event documentary and narrative short films. Created by Joshua Yates in 2021, BG Films values themself in professional, quality content, having every video we provide checked and reviewed multiple times before being released to a client.

Events

BG Films does event videography and photography. In this we film or photograph an event and produce a short video of the day.

 - 2022 CinefestOz Cinesnaps Schools Short Film Competition Year 10-12 Runner Up

A film made by Joshua Yates came second place out of the five finalists in the Year 10-12 category in this prestigous competition.

 - 2021 Your Call Youth Choices Film Competition SECOND PLACE

 A film made by Joshua Yates and Seth Weadley came second place out of more than 200 entries in this state-wide film competition. You can see their film to the right.
